TIlda with Rose Lace Dress

Hi Magnolia fans!
I have a "purpley" project to share with you today.  I made this for a very sweet lady who inspired me a few months ago. Here, I used Tilda with Rose Lace Dress from the Pink Lemonade Collection and colored the image with Copics. And if you're wondering why it says My Purpley Life, you can visit my main blog to read more about it. I also used a some DooHickeys for this project: Dream Tag, Rose Leaf and Lovely Fence.

The flowers are from WOC, the charm is from Tilm Holtz and the rest of the embellishments are from my stash.

Here is a closer look at Tilda.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope to see you again soon.

For a Teacher

Hello everyone!
I have an album I'd like to share with you today.
I made this album for my son's teacher last school year. She was assigned to another school so during the last week of school, I secretly asked the kids to write a short note/letter and I adhered them to this mini album, decorated it with school themed stickers and a picture of each student. The kids gave it to her as a send-away gift and something to remember them by.

For the front of the album, I used Editor Tilda and colored her with Copics.  Flowers and leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the rest of the embellishments are from my stash.

Here's a peak of the pages.

It was fun making this album because I get to read all the letters the kids wrote for their teacher.
And that's it for me today!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful weekend!

I have a couple cards to share with you that I have posted over at my main blog.

First I have Flower Tilda with Bowknot colored with Distress Ink Reinkers.

Second, I have London Edwin colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

Reminder: The StampClub Fall2014 is closing soon.  Be sure to click HERE and
This kit will have the Christmas and Winter stamps.

Tilda with Fantasy Flower

Happy Friday Magnolia fans!

Before I go to my card today, I have 2 videos up on YouTube. If you want to know what supplies (paper, brush, inks) I use, Click HERE.
For a coloring video on how I color the skin and hair, click HERE

Now to my card. I made a semi-criss cross card / gift card holder. I made the criss cross a bit offset to give it more character. I used Tilda with Fantasy Flower from the Lost and Found Collection

This is what the inside looks like.  I used the Magnolia DooHickeys Grass and Wooden Sign dies.

The hearts are wooden buttons which I painted with acrylic paint and coated with clear Distress Crackle paint. The aged or browned look of the button was a result or reaction of the acrylic paint and the crackle paint together. This happened when it was completely dry. And I think it's a nice vintage look. What do you think?

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts

And for these tiny little tags, I used the Tea Label DooHickey Dies.

And for a bonus card, I made a CAS card using Edwin Catching Fish from the  Sea Breeze Collection.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Coloring Video: Skin & Hair

Hello, hello!
I'm back with another video! Two videos in a week? I can' believe it myself! LOL
We had a thunderstorm today so I didn't want to go out and run errands.
And I had some images stamped for cards and projects for the next 4 weeks so I thought I'd make a video while I color the skin and hair.  I received just a few requests of a coloring tutorial in the past and I thought I should give it a shot. This is not a tutorial.  I am simply sharing with you how I color with Distress Ink Reinkers. I hope you get inspired! Enjoy the video!

You can also watch the video directly in YouTube.

Please let me know what you think.  I do appreciate all your comments!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

4 Cards

Hello Magnolia friends!

I am sharing 4 cards today Yes 4! I have posted and shared these on my main blog but I have not shred them here.   One thing in common with these 4 cards is that I colored the images using
Copics Sketch Markers and second, they're all have pink!  I switch from Distress inks and Copics Markers alot especially when I run out of the watercolor paper or blending paper that I like.

My first card features Sneaky Tilda from the Animals of the Year Collection.

My second project is a tag using Tilda with Millie the Mouse still from the Animals of the Year Collection. The bow is cut using the Bride Bow DooHickey.

My third card is actually 2 cards I made for twins. I used Tilda with Spitz Pocket from the Special Moments Collection.

My last card is also for the same twins. But this time, it's just 1 card but 2 separate inserts for their classmates/friends to sign on. I used Gemini Tilda from the Zodiac Collection

Ok, Are you still there? LOL
Is 4 cards too much for one post?
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Don't for get to order the new
