For todays blog hop, I am using Sitting Clown Tilda from the Le Cirque Collection. I chose this stamp because you can use this stamp for various occasions or different card themes. So instead of going for a circus themed card, I went for a fall-autumn-harvest theme.  I love the warm colors of autumn and I tried to incorporate it on my card. I tried to make it simple to make Tilda the focal point of the card.

I colored Tilda and the pumpkins using Copic Sketch Markers.  For the background, I attempted to make a water color back ground using Prima Watercolors.  I do need a whole lot of practise with watercolors but I enjoyed playing with it.

I fussy cut all the images and used foam adhesives for dimention.

Yay!! You made it thru all the Magnolia DT Blogs. This is your LAST STOP. But if you want to go back and check out the other blogs again, here is the list of all the Blogs!

Thank you so much for joining us in the Magnolia DT Blog hop!
Be sure to check back in on all the blogs on November 5, 2018, so see if you are a winner!

Anyway, I'm back with a Magnolia DT Blog hop.
This time we are featuring the new collection called Sun Beam
*****
I made a simple card using Sun Beam Tilda and the sentiment that came with the collection. Copic Markers were used to color Tilda.

Now for the flowers.  I used some felt to make these beauties and Magnolia DooHickey dies.
I have fallen inlove with felt lately and I'm going to playing with felt in the coming weeks.

Bee Tilda

Hello Magnolia Friends

I have a CAS card for you today.  This is Bee Tilda from the Spring Fever Collection. I colored her with Copic Sketch markers and I kept the card clean and simple.  The sentiment is from an older Magnolia Collection with I still love to use. The designer patterned paper is one of my favorites and is also from Magnolia.

It's a short post for me today but I hope you found some inspiration in my card.

Have a wonderful week ahead and I'll see you again soon!

Tilda with Spring Flowers

Hi Friends!

I have another card using a stamp from the New Spring Fever Collection.  It's not very often that I get to post twice in a week but I've been trying to catch up.  I'm going to have along weekend at work so I will be in my craft room again by Wednesday night....ish. And I'll be missing my craft room over the weekend.

On to my card, I used Tilda with Spring Flowers. I love her hair.  I am obsessed with coloring hair and I like how Pauline (illustrator of Magnolia Stamps) drew/designed Tilda with her hair like this.  There are a few more stamps that are similar to this...hair strands instead of waves or curls.

Here I colored Tilda with Copic Sketch Markers.  It's been a while since I colored with Copic Markers and I was reminded how wonderful these markers are.  As always, I need to practice more. Oh well...

I didn't take more detailed photos because you can pretty much see everything in this photo.  The designer patterned paper is from Magnolia, the DooHickeys used are:  Sakura Branch (Flowers), Rose Leaf,  Bride Bow.

I also used  a piece of lace and a paper doily.  And I stained or painted the edges of each paper piece with antique white acrylic paint.

That's it for me today. I hope to see you again soon. And I hope you like my card.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs!

Ribbon Tilda

Hello Magnolia fans.

Today, I have a card using an older Magnolia stamp. This is Ribbon Tilda from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection of 2011. This collection was released just a month or two after I started card making.  Tilda is colored with Copics and the flowers, leaves and twigs were cut using Magnolia DooHickey Dies.

I love the versatility of this stamp. I know that this is from a Christmas collection but you can surely use this image for Valentines or other occasion.

I will see you again soon.  Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Ski Star Tilda

Happy Monday everyone!

Christmas is just around the corner and latest Magnolia Collection Waiting For Christmas has the perfect images for you Christmas cards this year.
This is Ski Star Tilda.  And I colored her using Copic Sketch Markers. For the falling snow and the snow on the ground, I used embossing paste.

Here's Tilda up close

If you're on Facebook and you are a member of the Magnolia group, you probably saw a card similar to this. Yulis, my Magnolia Design Teammate  posted  her card last week. And as soon as I saw it, I messaged her and told her that I had almost the exact same card.  I finished my card early last week, the exact same time she finished hers. So she told me to post it together with her card. Unfortunately,  I scheduled to post this card today and I didn't have an extra card or time to make another one.

Yulis and I chat online very so often but we never thought of making the same card. We have the same interests...not only in crafting but also in other things not related to cardmaking.
I also want to be neighbors with her because she has all my favorite tropical fruits in her backyard! And even though she is thousands of miles away, I'm so glad I can call Yulis as my dear friend and as the saying goes "great minds think alike...", well, for Yulis and I, "crafty minds think alike...sometimes at the same time!" :)

Anywhooo...that's the story behind my card.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

TIlda with Rose Lace Dress

Hi Magnolia fans!
I have a "purpley" project to share with you today.  I made this for a very sweet lady who inspired me a few months ago. Here, I used Tilda with Rose Lace Dress from the Pink Lemonade Collection and colored the image with Copics. And if you're wondering why it says My Purpley Life, you can visit my main blog to read more about it. I also used a some DooHickeys for this project: Dream Tag, Rose Leaf and Lovely Fence.

The flowers are from WOC, the charm is from Tilm Holtz and the rest of the embellishments are from my stash.

Here is a closer look at Tilda.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope to see you again soon.

4 Cards

Hello Magnolia friends!

I am sharing 4 cards today Yes 4! I have posted and shared these on my main blog but I have not shred them here.   One thing in common with these 4 cards is that I colored the images using
Copics Sketch Markers and second, they're all have pink!  I switch from Distress inks and Copics Markers alot especially when I run out of the watercolor paper or blending paper that I like.

My first card features Sneaky Tilda from the Animals of the Year Collection.

My second project is a tag using Tilda with Millie the Mouse still from the Animals of the Year Collection. The bow is cut using the Bride Bow DooHickey.

My third card is actually 2 cards I made for twins. I used Tilda with Spitz Pocket from the Special Moments Collection.

My last card is also for the same twins. But this time, it's just 1 card but 2 separate inserts for their classmates/friends to sign on. I used Gemini Tilda from the Zodiac Collection

Ok, Are you still there? LOL
Is 4 cards too much for one post?
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Don't for get to order the new

Pisces Tilda

Happy Monday friends!
I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I'm finally done cleaning up (I think...), well...the major stuff are out of the way so I can pretty much enjoy my craft desk without see things that are not supposed to be there. Now everything is back to my regular crafting mess.

My card for today features Pisces Tilda from the Zodiac Collection. I colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers.  After a few weeks of making CAS cards, I kinda missed the layered, flower-filled cards. As you can see I added some texture by using  Crackle Accents on the Flourish and the Happy Birthday banner. Some corrugated board, cheese clothe, jute ribbon...and the patterned paper which is from Magnolia is distressed on the edges and painted with antique white acrylic paint.

Here's a closer look at Tilda.

Here are the 4 corners of the card. Just click on the image to enlarge.

And this is the inside of the card.

Last look... so you don't have to scroll back up.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
Have a wonderful day!
