Edwin with Sack

Hi there. I have my second card for today. I have been wanting to make a card like this but I just couldn't figure out how to make it.  It's a white on white card, an entry I made for the MDUC for this week (actually it's gonna end in a couple of hours and I hope I can still link up) :)

I used Edwin with Sack which is part of the Magnolia Stamp Club kit that arrived a couple days ago. I colored Edwin with Copics (mostly C's, W's & T's)

I used a bunch of dies to make this card.  Here is a Magnolia DooHickey: Lovely fence.
The Poinsettia's were also made using the Magnolia DooHickey. And those tree branch is from Martha Stewart paper punch.
On the side, I used Tim Holtz On th Edge Snowflakes.
The tree is from Marianne Designs Die and the snow flakes behind the trees is another DooHickey die.
The tag is also a DooHickey die.

And for my snow, I used a mixture of acrylic paint and extra fine glitter!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Birthday Tag

Happy Friday Magnolia lovers. Today, I'd like to share a tag a made for one of the challenges for today.  I used Tilda with Daisies and Mushrooms from the Turning Leaves collection. A couple weeks ago, I used the same image but colored it with Distress Ink Reinkers.  This time I colored Tilda with my Copics. I colored this maybe 3-4 weeks ago. I was (and I still am) working on how to color hair with strands/texture... (or what ever they call it) Anyway, I was happy so far with the result but I know I still have to do major fine tuning on my coloring
The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The colors I used for this tag was inspired by one of the flowers on the project.  It's the flowers next to the chrysanthemums. The mixture of yellow and pink made me think of pink lemonade which is my favorite.  I also used a  Rectangle Doily Die from Lifestyle Crafts and a Magnolia DooHickey Vintage Tag.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts (retired, I think)

The branch and the leaves were cut using Cheery Lynn Dies

Thank you for visiting and have a safe weekend!

Tilda with Ugg Shoes

Hiya! I hope everybody is doing well.  I managed to finish a paper bag decorated with  Tilda and butterflies.  This is Tilda with Uggs which is part of Australian Special that was released recently released.

For those of you not familiar with Ugg shoes, they are the most comfy shoes for cold weather. They are made in Australia. Unfortunately I don't own a women's Uggs.  I have  couple of Kid's size 2 Uggs and I love em!

Now back to  my paper bag.  I colored Tilda with Copics. and the beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I distressed the paper edges with a distressing tool, stained them, then stitched the edges with my sewing machine.

Here's a closer look at Tilda!

Supplies used:
Tim Holtz On the Edge Butterflies
Spellbinders Ovals
Magnolia DooHickey LovelyFence
MS Grass Punch
Corrugated board
Antique White Acrylic Paint
Gems & Pearls
Ribbons, lace and butterfly charm
brown paper bag

Sewing Box

Hi friends! I'm sorry I've been MIA for a while.
Today, I want to share with you a sewing box I made to store my Gutermann threads which I use for my sewing machine and for hand stitching.

I used Tailor Tilda and colored her with Copics. The Beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace and seam binding are from my stash. I got this paper mache box from Joann's Crafts.  I wrapped the box with Magnolia DP and edged the lid with lace.
I used an Oval Nestabilities and distressed it, used some cheese clothe painted with antique white acrylic paint. Some tiny wooden spools with ribbon and twine were added to finish it off.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!

Tilda with Bouquet

Twinkle, twinkle little star! How I wonder what you are... this is our theme for this week at
Just Magnolia!

For my card today, I used Tilda with Candy Cone from the Sweet Christmas Dreams collection.  But instead of showing the candy cones I covered it with beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I colored Tilda with my Copics and this is one of the images where I practiced coloring hair this way.
The DP full of stars is from MME Lime Twist Fly a Kite and I also added 3 bigger stars cut from  DooHickeys.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!
Have a great weekend!

Tilda in Red

Hi there! I have a card that I managed to finish while waiting for my son to finish writing his research report. The image is from the Little Christmas Collection.  And I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers. I used a red Magnolia Christmas paper and a handful of dies for my embellishments. I also used Diamond Stickles and acrylic paint for the snow effect on the trees.

I hope you like my card for today.  I'll be back on Friday for a new Just Magnolia Challenge and who knows, maybe I'll come up with a card for tomorrow...we'll wait and see.  For the mean time, enjoy the rest of the day and thank you for dropping by my blog!

Hugs!

Autumn Scene

Fall/Autumn is my favorite time of the year. The leaves turn into an array of gorgeous colors and the heat of summer dies down. My card today features Tilda with broom from the Turning Leaves Collection.

For the last 2 weeks, I have been playing with Copics and set aside my DIs for a while because of an accident...well, I spilled water on my table and I messed up some papers. Ugh!  LOL

Anywhooo, you might have noticed Tilda's hair. This is my first time to color hair this way.  And I know I need alot more practice to get it right.  But for now, I'm good with this one. :)

I colored this image with Copic Sketch Markers.  The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the other flower, I made from a paper doily. Pretty in Pink

Hello everyone!
This is very late post. I was supposed to share it here last Friday but I totally forgot! @@ I try to stay away from my computer so I can get some coloring done. Anyway, here's my simple creation for the Just Magnolia challenge this week and our theme is Pretty in Pink.
So, do I have enough pink? :)

I used Tilda with Daisy from the Sweet Crazy Love collection that was released early this year.  And just for fun...I used my phone camera to take the photo and I think it came out pretty good!
This is one of my favorite Tildas.  I love her hair.

Here, I took another photo using my camera.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a wonderful day!
