Mushroom & Daisies

Hello again! I think by now, it's pretty obvious to you that I love the color blue! Here, I have Tilda with Mushrooms and Daisies from the Turning Leaves Collection colored in Distress Ink Reinkers and Distress Markers for the grass.  I love Tilda's hair and the daisies she has on her hand. I am working on the same image but I'm coloring it with Copics.
I'm not quite done but I'll share it as soon as it's complete.

The lovely flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the DP is Paper Loft.  The inside of the card has the same layout and I stamped a mini version. All the edges are stained with DI Walnut Stain and the base and second layer was sewn by machine.

I hope you like my card for today.  Thanks for dropping by!

Enjoy your day!

Turning Leaves

Hello everybody! I hope y'all are enjoying the summer or whatever is left of it!
I'd like to share some photos of the new Magnolia Ink Magazine Turning Leaves.  I got this in the mail two days ago, and I've been doing my happy dance since then. My cheeks are hurting from having this smile (crazy grin LOL) on my face.

This is the first time for me to have my projects published as part of the design team! (I had 1 project published when I won one of the Magnolia Ink contests.) I'm so excited about this issue and it makes me really proud to be part of the team. I still consider myself as a newbie...not only with Magnolia, but also with crafting, stamping, card making, and coloring as a whole.  It was September last year when I tried  stamping and everything just went on from there. And I'm really really thankful!

Back to the magazine...
The card on the cover is made by Debbie Dolphins.
On pages  30-31, you will find my Autumn Fun banner.
My Autumn Wind Shaker card  is on page 40.

Thank you so much for following me and for visiting my blog, for your lovely comments  and words of encouragements.  You have been an inspiration to me from the day I started blogging.
And again, from the bottom of my heart

THANK YOU!

Goosebump Tilda

 Happy Friday, everyone!
For today's card, I have Goosebump Tilda  from the Turning Leaves Collection. I found some blossoms that matched the DP which I decided to use and I actually like how it turned out. Last week, I sent this card out to my Aunt in California and I was glad she liked it!

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you like my card for today!

Mom to be Tilda

Mom to be Tilda is my project for today.  This is actually a flat card with a magnet so it can be placed on the refrigerator.  I made this for a friend I used to work with in Ontario, California. I am going to make another  Mom-To-Be card later on this week because another friend of mine is expecting. Everybody seems to be busy! LOL

I colored Tilda with Copics and I cut her out. The DP is from the Bo Bunny Gabrielle Collection and the beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment is a mini from the Graduate and Student collection.

 And before I forget.....

Here's a peak at the New Magnolia Ink Magazine

Back to School

School buses, backpacks, pencils and crayons, notebooks and binders,
scented erasers and cute lunch boxes... Yes, school's back!

For my project today, I made a topper for an old notebook.  I used Tilda with Pencils from the Turning Leaves Collection and colored her with Distress Inks Reinkers. I used MFT Die-namics Mini Pennant for the "subjects", distressed the edges with DI and hand written using Spica pens. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

A few weeks ago, I used this same image for an octagon flat card. I just love this Tilda!

Another look

Thank you very much for dropping by!
Have a great day!

Mae

New Baby (Tilda's Family 2)

This is my 2nd Tilda's Family card. The first one I made can be found HERE. I used the same images but masked it on the opposite side. I colored this image over a month ago and I almost forget about it.  Good thing I had some new papers that matched the image.

This card is on it's way to California...to a good friend of mine
who just gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

In the inside of the card is a tag and at the back of the tag is where I wrote my message.

One more look...

Thanks for dropping by!

Hugs,
Mae

Shabby Chic Tilda

Hello Magnolia Friends!
Happy Friday and I'm sure you are all looking forward to the weeked.
Today, I'd like to share a card where I used Dancing Tilda with Stars from the new Little Christmas Collection. I inked her up with Distress Ink Reinkers.  I was aiming for a Shabby Chic card and this is what I came up with.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you like my card!
