Tilda with Dot Bow

Hello my lovelies! I hope you are all enjoying your day.
This is another attempt to make a 3D paper pieced card.  I used Tilda with Dot Bow from the
With Love Collection and I colored her with Copic Sketch Markers.
I chose this image because it doesn't have a lot of tiny  pieces to cut. hehe

Here's a view from the side so you can see the 3D pieces/layers.

A closer look...

Copic Recipe:
Skin: E0000, 000, 00, 11, 21, pink chalk (cheeks)

Red: R29, 27, 24, 23

On the inside of the card, I used the same sketch and stamped it with an old Magnolia Hearts Stamp.

Thanks for stopping by!
I'll be back tomorrow with another card. See you then!

Blowing Hearts Tilda

 Hello again!
This is my second card for you today. I made this for the Magnolia Booth during the last CHA conference at Anaheim early this month.  This is one of my attempts to do the no-lines with Distress Inks. I wanted to focus on using DooHickeys only for embellishments which is quite challenging for me because I love using flowers in all my cards.

This is Tilda Blowing Hearts from the With Love Collection and I also used accessory stamps from the same collection. DooHickey's used were: Rose Leaf, Doily Flower and Bloomy Tag. The DP is for the Summer Memories Collection.

And here's sneak peek at the up coming collection.

Thanks again for stopping by! I really do appreciate everyone of you who takes time to drop by and visit my blog!

Have a wonderful day!

Mae

Tilda in the Mountains

Hi Magnolia lovers! I can't believe it's been a week since my last post here. So how is the winter in your area? I'm still missing snow.  Up until now, we have zero snow in Chicago.
To make up for the missing snow, I have a Winter card to share with you.
I used Tilda in the Mountains and colored her with Distress Ink Reinkers.
The DP is from My Little Yellow Bicycle called Winterings!  The first time I saw this  collection (it was at the Summer CHA 2012) I knew I just have to have it! The shades of blue and brown/beige are perfect!

OK, Here's a closer look at Tilda.

The beautiful flower are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The inside of the card.

Supplies used:
MLYB Winterings paper (my fave!)
DooHickeys: Christmas Lace, Sprawling Fern
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Liquid Applique
Metal corner, seam binding (my stash)

Old Swedish Church

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
How many inches of snow do you have? For us here in Chicago, there is no sign of snow! Yes, I miss the snow! Not the shoveling and all that good stuff... just the snow!

My card today is simple one. I used the Old Swedish Church from A Christmas Story 2012 Collection  and I inked it up with Distress Ink Reinkers. I used some Liquid Applique and Stickles for the snow. I added a few Spruce trees and a piece of string to finish it off!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Thanks for stopping by!

Tilda with Many Hearts

Hi Magnolia Friends!
I'd like to share a 3D easel card I made. This card features Tilda with Many Heart form the You Are So Special 2011 Collection.
I colored Tilda with Copic Sketch Markers and I paper pieced the image.
The Magnolia DooHickeys I used are Rose Leaf, Tilda Ticket and Heart Tag.
For the base of the card, I used LifeStyle Crafts Doily Dies (Circle & Square) and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The DP is from MME and the ribbon, lace and brad are from my stash.

To see the 3D effect, here's a side view of the card.

I hope you like my card.
Thanks for visiting me today!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs!!!
