Little Tilda Christmas Tag

Have you seen the upcoming collection from Magnolia? It's the "first" collection of Christmas stamps for 2012. The Little Christmas Collection. One of the stamps in this collection is "Little Tilda" and I made a Christmas tag using the image.
I went for a blue and brown color scheme that's why the highlights of her black hair is blue. So, scroll down to see more photos of my tag.

I hope you like my version of a Christmas tag using one of the new images from Magnolia.
Thanks for dropping by!

I hope you like this care and I will be posting another one later today.  Enjoy your Monday!

CHA Magnolia Booth

July 16-19 was the Summer CHA 2012 here in Chicago.  I was so happy to be part of Magnolia and be one of the exhibitors at the booth.  At the booth, I was with John and Barbro, owners of Magnolia who were one of the sweetest couples I met. I also met a lot of nice people, some whom I have just known in blogland.  This was my first CHA and I have learned alot.

CHA Day 1
Lesson # 1. Never ever wear 3 inch heels on the first day of CHA.
Lesson #2: Don't let your hair down when it's 100+ degrees.
It was so hot and humid (outside) and my hair could NOT handle it. My hair got soooo frizzy, and as soon as I got inside the convention center, I got sued by "Medusa" for identity theft!

CHA Day 2
Lesson #1: Do NOT repeat the same mistakes from CHA day 1!

Overall, My CHA experience was awesome. Most of the time I spent it chatting with John and barbro who were such wonderful people.

So, here was the Magnolia Booth

This was my first CHA and hoping it won't be the last.
Have a great day!

Baby Edwin

Hello Magnolia friends!
For my card today, I have Baby Edwin from the the Princes & Princesses Collection which was released early this year.  The image is colored using Distress Ink Reinkers.

Yesterday was my son's 10th birthday and we spent it at a Water Park here in Illinois. The weather was great!  It was not so hot (85 F/29C) and the park was not so packed. I can't believe he is 10 years old now! Time has flown so fast. My card today reminds me of the time when my son was still a baby...with a binkie in his mouth, wearing blue onesies... ((sigh!!!) But no matter what, he will always be my baby!

I hope you like my card for today.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Mae

B for Butterfly

My card today has a butterfly theme. Yes, I know those Doohickeys are actually dragonflies but I cut off the body/tail and left the wings...so it does look like a butterfly to me :)
The image is Tilda with Hawaii Flowers from the Butterfly Wishes Collection and I inked her up with Distress Ink Reinkers.

Thanks for dropping by!
Have a great weekend!

Summer Stamp Kit

Hello my peeps! I hope you all had a wonderful end.  Well, I did! I received the new
Summer Stamp Club Kit and I couldn't wait to to ink them up!

This is my attempt to make a "shabby chic" card.
But I'm not so sure if it's chic enough to be shabby! LOL

I used the new DI Picked Raspberry for her dress, shoes and bows!

I can't wait to ink up the other images!
Have a great day!
